Guidelines

You are scored the highest grade if your content follows these guidelines

Forty-five samples of learners’ work marked and graded within the 3-year period, showing comments.( Good, very Good,  Excellent ) or corrections you have made in the learners work. 

15 lessons from each year. 

Take a learners work, scan the 15 lessons, from each year and convert to pdf as one file then upload.  

It can be different students but you should know the dates will be checked. 

You have until Thursday, 1st December 2022 to complete your portfolio before it is submitted for review.

Teaching in less than 3 years

If you have been teaching for two years then your 45 will come from the two year period.

 

LEARNING PLANS (15 LESSONS PER TERM)

Evidence in the form of videos with dates on regular use of appropriate technology within learning environment to support learning. Showing a video in class is an example.

 

A report on core competencies

You are scored the highest grade if your content follows these guidelines

The report adequately describes the various methods used to support learners to develop their core competencies and dates quoted in the report on the use of the identified core competencies reflect dates in the learning plan when they were used.

 

WRITE UP ON COLLABORATION

Guidelines

You are scored the highest grade if your content follows these guidelines

A write-up in 400 words indicating evidence of willingness to collaborate with colleagues demonstrated with more than two (2) evidence of participation.

 

Records of training attended

Guidelines

You are scored the highest grade if your content follows these guidelines

Here you need to upload certificates of courses you have attended for processing.

Documentation on 6 or more trainings varied trainings attended

PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION STRATEGIES AND INTERVENTION PROCESS (ACTION RESEARCH)

Report on Core Competencies from the Mentors

You are scored the highest grade if your content follows these guidelines

A brief report from the mentor indicating at least five (5) core competences used in your lessons and those that needed support to be used in subsequent lessons.

Mentors’ Comment

Guidelines

You are scored the highest grade if your content follows these guidelines

Mentor’s comments show satisfactory conduct, performance and willingness of the teacher to learn and lend support to peers and learners.

Head Teachers’ Recommendation

Guidelines

You are scored the highest grade if your content follows these guidelines

Stamped and signed recommendation letter indicates at least 4 co-curricular activities supported by the teacher in addition to 4 general functions consistently performed in the learning environment.
